Our map database currently covers the Edinburgh area out to the South Queensferry, Newbridge, the Pentland Hills, Newtongrange, Roslin and Musselburgh, or approximately 360 square kilometres. Updated using the 2000  XYZ / Getmapping 12.5cm colour photography, and originally created from ortho-photos partially supplied by Geoinformation Group Ltd. Extensive field work is now in progress to ensure that the database has been fully updated to reflect changes to May 2002. As you can see from the images, this database is probably the most comprehensive and detailed source available at this scale in a digital format. To complement the vector map data, we also offer a matching raster image.
