These images are from the National Archive. A complete air photo survey of the whole of Scotland was carried out by the Scottish Office in 1988.

XYZ are working in co-operation with the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historic Monuments of Scotland (RCAHMS) to convert the 1988 analogue survey into digital rectified mosaics. This is now available in Digital Form.

The Central belt is in Colour. The rest of Scotland is Black & White.

The images are ideal for Establishing Ecological and Environmental Trends, Contaminated Land Studies, Historical Analysis and a great deal more.
