Avenza
Developers of MAPublisher software, Geographic Imager, and map data products for the cartographic user. At XYZ we create most of our map products using MAPublisher, as well as acting as the UK & Ireland distributors since 1999. Avenza act as resellers of XYZ digital map data, for example the Avenza World data set.
Collins Bartholomew
Collins Bartholomew are famous as map producers, in particular for the Times Atlas of the World. Of course they have also been active in the map data market for around 20 years. We are pleased to have continued working together (XYZ's founders are all ex-Bartholomew), and that XYZ supply their extensive range of publications and Great Britain and World products data products.
Getmapping
Publishers of the Millennium Map, and pioneers in the area of affordable digital ortho-photography. XYZ are resellers of Getmapping air photo and other products, and have been working with Getmapping since 2000 to create and maintain the Scottish Digital National Imagery.
Global Mapping
Our sister company, responsible for publishing our SkyView posters, World Wall Maps, and other products. Global Mapping will be delighted to advise you on any aspect of commissioning custom made mapping for your publications, or in sourcing map data. Ordnance Survey
In collaboration with our colleagues at Global Mapping we act as re-sellers of the full Ordnance Survey product range other than MasterMapT. We are also an Ordnance Survey Map & Data Centre, so offer a plot on demand service for site-centred maps, e.g. for planning applications.
Outstanding Map Distributors
We have worked with Outstanding for many years and they warehouse and ship most of our retail products from their base in St. Austell in Cornwall. They also provide encapsulation and lamination services, and sell their own branded versions of our Postcode District and Postcode Sector map series.
People's Map
The People's Map is an exciting map project that is creating a large scale 1:10 000 map base for the British Isles. It is free for private use, but there are modest fees for commercial use. This is a joint venture between XYZ, Getmapping Plc and GeoSense Ltd.
Royal Mail
XYZ have been re-sellers of Royal Mail products, since 2004. As a result we work closely with Royal Mail, and have also developed an extensive range of Postcode Maps (digital & paper), Postcode Boundary GIS data set and the XYZ Post Locator product.

British Cartographic Society
XYZ are corporate members of The British Cartographic Society, which is the largest cartographic society in the UK (but there is also the Society of Cartographers). BCS provides a forum for map making professionals from any field (GIS, publishing, etc) to learn from each other, and share experiences.
International Map Trade Association
XYZ are corporate members of IMTA, and regularly attend IMTA trade shows (usually with Global Mapping). IMTA is a trade association so basically enables those in the map making, distributing or selling game to get together to do or discuss business.
Royal Scottish Geographical Society
XYZ sponsor the annual XYZ Digital Award of the RSGS, as well as sponsoring lectures. The society is the premier geographic organisation in Scotland, and has an illustrious past (including the Scotia exploration trip to Antarctica in 1902, and strong links to David Livingston and other explorers). RSGS run an extensive winter lecture series across Scotland, organise conferences from time to time, research expeditions, and guided educational holidays, amongst other things.
